Pistou soup

PISTOU SOUP for 6 pers.
500 g green beans, 500 g white beans, 500 g red beans, 4 zucchini, 300 g potatoes, 250 g bacon, 2 tomatoes, 100 g small pasta, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Pistou: basil leaves, 6 garlic cloves, 3 ripe tomatoes, a glass of olive oil.

Shell the beans, peel and wash the vegetables and cut them into cubes of 1cm. Cut beans into pieces and the tomatoes into quarters and cut the bacon into small pieces. In a large pot put a few tablespoons of olive oil and bacon, cook slightly and add all the vegetables in 3 liters of water, add salt and pepper and bring to a boil, reduce and cook for 1 h. Check the seasoning and add the pasta and some chopped basil leaves.
Cook for 30 mins.
Preparing the pesto: crush the garlic with the basil leaves in a mortar, add salt and pepper, add a glass of olive oil and tomatoes cut into very small dice.
Serve the soup hot and each will add pesto to his liking!
