HISTORY

Located in Fontvieille, a small provençal village in the heart of the Alpilles dear to Alphone Daudet, the Sourdon family produces since four generations its fine olive oil in a typical "Mas" from the 12th century.
Today the family story goes on with Anne and Magali who share like their ancestors a real passion for the "Vallée des Baux" and its olive cultivation tradition.
The love for olive trees, the passion for its cultivation and the art of assembling the four typical varieties composing the OPA (Origin Protected Appelation) made the family Sourdon has maintained this ancestral knowledge.

The "moulin Saint Jean" is located next to the Saint Jean Chapel, a building from the 11th century, has more than 5000 olive trees growing in the protected area of the "Baux de Provence " valey.
